Parents Guild

Dear Saddle River Day School Families,

On behalf of the Parents Guild, it is our honor and privilege to serve as Co-Presidents and welcome you to the 2025-26 school year at Saddle River Day!

We are so excited to share the many opportunities we have planned this school year that continue to make our community special. As our community continues to evolve, our greatest goal will always be to focus on our advancement by engaging families and welcoming new volunteers to support the extensive programs and experiences at SRDS.

As parents and guardians of SRDS students, you are automatically a member of our Parents Guild and we would love your support in any way possible! Volunteering provides a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and have fun while strengthening our school. We organize and host a wide variety of events throughout the school year for parents, students, and our faculty, making volunteering even easier as it can be at a time of day or year that's convenient for you. Whether it be attending our monthly meetings and fundraising events, donating your time, or simply providing positive support, we greatly appreciate your contribution! We are incredibly proud of what Parents Guild has accomplished over the years—thanks to YOUR help! Let’s keep that momentum going strong into this year and continue making a meaningful impact together! We’ve been working on a fun-filled calendar and we can’t wait to share all the exciting opportunities with you and your family.

We also would like to invite you to our monthly Parents Guild Meetings in the Alford Hall Performing Arts Center (PAC); meetings are the first Thursday of the month throughout the school year and will begin at 8:30am unless otherwise announced. Join us right after morning drop off to see friendly faces and make new friends while hearing about all the "Happenings" on campus including volunteer opportunities, student programs, and upcoming special events. A zoom link will be available for those community members who cannot attend in person.

On behalf of the SRDS Parents Guild we would once again like to extend a warm welcome and best wishes for a successful school year! Please feel free to contact either of us with any questions or suggestions. We look forward to seeing you!

Sincerely,
Heather Holder & Alana Murphy
