From our lab-based science program that begins in Pre-K to over forty AP courses and post-AP courses offered, we inspire our students to be the next generations of innovators, thinkers, and leaders. SRDS provides the best of both words: all the offerings of a big school, but the small classes, caring teachers, and attention that comes with being a small independent school. Tuition and affordability
SRDS is committed to attracting highly qualified students, regardless of family resources. In addition to keeping our tuition as affordable as possible, we also award need-based financial assistance to help families lower their overall educational costs.
SRDS awards financial assistance to families who demonstrate a need and have an SRDS student entering Grades 1–12. January 15th is the deadline to apply for financial aid. Interested families can apply online by completing the online application below. Starting for 2025-2026, SRDS will use the Clarity tuition platform.

Affordability
The Saddle River Day School tuition assistance program is designed to make our education possible for all families based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds. SRDS is proud to use the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts.
To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete and is mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, you will follow the steps to authorize the IRS to share a transcript of your W2(s) and personal tax return. Clarity has found that families who have IRS.gov accounts before starting the Clarity Application have a much easier time completing this Verification process.
There is a $65 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools.
The deadline for completing the financial aid application, including relevant supplemental documents, is December 3 for Early Decision Applicants and January 15 for Regular Decision Applicants.
If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available through the “Help” button in the bottom left of the screen, as well as email and phone support at support@clarityapp.com or 206-210-3752, in both English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish.

Payment Plan
Saddle River Day School offers an installment payment plan to allow families to pay for tuition in 10 equal installments.
