Math (for rising 6th grade students only)
This is an optional placement test for students interested in taking Advanced Pre-Algebra in 6th grade next year.  The test will be completed without a calculator and is designed to evaluate students’ mathematical thinking, reasoning, and fluency with key concepts.  Here are sample placement questions.  To register, please contact Keith Hickey, Math Department Chair - khickey@saddleriverday.org.

Science (for rising 7th-8th graders)
The placement test will cover some basic 7th grade science content, but will primarily focus on the core science skills needed to be successful in Biology Honors: reading comprehension, experimental design, graphing, critical thinking, and scientific argumentation. For more information, review the Test Guidelines and Science Skills Practice Guide.

If you are interested in having your child participate in the placement test, please RSVP to Dr Vanessa Robinson at vrobinson@saddleriverday.org.
