We Couldn’t Do It Without Them: The SRDS Parents Guild
Communications

The SRDS Parents Guild is a cornerstone of our community, with members generously giving their time, talent and resources to support the students, programs and traditions that make SRDS so special. Their mission extends beyond fundraising—these dedicated parents cultivate connection, welcome new families and foster the close-knit community that defines the SRDS experience.

Throughout the year, the Parents Guild organizes and supports events that enrich student life and strengthen community bonds, including the Welcome Reception for new parents and guardians, Men’s Night Out, Ladies’ Night Out, Love and Kindness Week and the Annual Gala, among many others. Their commitment ensures that our students enjoy opportunities for growth, creativity and connection, and we are profoundly grateful for their tireless dedication.

Ladies’ Night Out

What began over 20 years ago as a small gathering has grown into one of the most anticipated social events of the year. Ladies’ Night Out provides a festive evening for women of the SRDS community to connect, celebrate and raise funds for the school. This year, over 250 women gathered at The Tides Estate in North Haledon, NJ, for a night of friendship, food and fun with a “Luck Be a Ladies’ Night” theme. The event combines community building with meaningful support for SRDS initiatives.

Annual Gala

The Parents Guild also hosts the spectacular Annual Gala, a premier event for parents, alumni and friends of SRDS, focused on significant fundraising for programs that drive innovation, creativity and excellence at the school. Gala 2026 will be held at The Rockleigh on April 17th, with a "Limitless: One Big Party" theme. It will be an unforgettable evening that will generate crucial support for the initiatives that help our students thrive. Join us!

Through its dedication, leadership and generosity, the SRDS Parents Guild ensures that our school not only thrives today but continues to grow as a vibrant, connected and inspiring community.
