SADDLE RIVER – Straight on three-point shot, maybe a step to the right. Nothing but net. Nothing but history for Michelle Sidor.

The Saddle River Day senior guard scored 37 points Saturday against Teaneck to become the all-time leading scorer in Bergen County girls basketball history with more than half a season of basketball yet to play.

Sidor, who has signed with Michigan, passed both Kerry Dressel (2,566) and Anne Donovan (2,582) in the Rebels win over Teaneck. The Saddle River native now has 2,584 points. She set the record with a three-pointer early in the fourth quarter. “I felt that shot,” said Sidor. “I knew that was going in. It was a good way to get it.”
