Saddle River Day School has two teammates on the Rebel Cross Country Team that have qualified for the Bergen County Meet of Champions to be held on Saturday, October 27th at 10 AM in Darlington Park. Abbey Wallach and Jared Suresky placed 6th and 10th respectively at the Bergen County Group Championships held this past Saturday, October 20. Their finishing times provided each runner the necessary point to qualify for the upcoming weekend meet which showcases only the top runners in the county. Both Abbey and Jared have been stalwarts on the cross country team this fall and they are gaining the area recognition they deserve. We are urging everyone to support their efforts and are hoping for a large crowd of support on Saturday. Let’s get out and cheer this accomplishment and celebrate SRDS athletes.
