Shakespeare Honors Students Showcase Linguistic Talents
Wednesday morning seniors took to the stage in the PAC and performed short memorable scenes from the plays of William Shakespeare as a culmination of their studies during the semester.  Mastering the complexities of the language flawlessly, the seniors again demonstrated remarkable talent in the brief period of time to familiarize themselves with the unique Elizabethan language cadence and timing critical in the dialogue of the scenes performed. It is quite astounding to see high school students with such an excellent grasp of Shakespeare's language and rhythms, and it is a pleasure to see how far they all have come. Parents, faculty and other students were in attendance to witness the linguistic and theatrical skills of these outstanding seniors. The students in the Shakespeare Honors class also conducted acting workshops for Fourth, Fifth, Eighth and Ninth Grades.
